Installation Guide

Follow these steps to install BioScript on your own server. The installation process is automated and takes less than 2 minutes.

Important: BioScript uses a file-based database system (SQLite) which is automatically created. You do not need to create a MySQL database manually.

Step 1: Upload Files

1. Download the bioscript-v1.0.zip file from your purchase email.

2. Log in to your hosting control panel (cPanel, DirectAdmin, etc.) or connect via FTP.

3. Upload the ZIP file to your public_html folder (or the subfolder where you want to install it).

4. Extract the ZIP file contents.

Step 2: Run the Installer

1. Open your web browser and navigate to your website URL (e.g., https://yourdomain.com).

2. You will be automatically redirected to the /install page.

3. Enter your License Key (found in your purchase email) to verify your purchase.

4. The installer will check your server requirements. If everything is green, click Next.

Server Requirements Check:
[OK] PHP 8.0+
[OK] SQLite Extension
[OK] OpenSSL Extension
[OK] File Permission (writable)

Step 3: Admin Account Setup

The installer will automatically configure your database using SQLite. No manual database setup is required.

Simply create your administrator account:

Admin Email: This will be used for login and system notifications
Admin Password: Choose a strong password

Success! Once the installation is complete, the installer will automatically delete itself for security reasons. You can now log in to your dashboard.
